"I live in Coldwater, Ohio with my wife and two young sons, Matthew 12 and Kevin 9. Last year, 1998, our furnace was not running properly, so we decided to have it serviced. It was only 6 years old, but one of the burners was not burning evenly and it was noisy and not burning very warm. We called a repair man, who came and was there approximately 1-1/2 hours. He checked for carbon monoxide and serviced our furnace, and also our small ventless heater in our hallway. They also told us that a carbon monoxide tester was not necessary. We were charged $209. During the winter of 1998 we were constantly sick. We had flu-like symptoms, colds, light-headedness, excessive tiredness, etc. We never imagined that it could be the furnace since it had just been serviced.
At the end of the summer in 1999, we went to start the furnace and again our burner was not burning. It was very noisy, and this time, was blowing out cold air. This time on the advice of some friends, we called Buschur's Refrigeration. They came out and told us that our burner may have to be replaced. The guys worked on it and then back to install it and adjust the furnace...
We feel if not for the dedicated people at Buschur's Refrigeration, our lives this winter would have definitely been compromised or even lost. We feel confident in their ability, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are a family business and treat their customers like family. That is a very rare thing today, when most businesses look at customers as numbers and profit."
